Giovanni is a sound engineer based in London, UK with professional experience recording free jazz, electro acoustic music, free improvisation and contemporary musical compositions. His recordings have been released professionally by independent record labels that focus on contemporary music. He has a high level of understanding of the practical techniques and theory that underpin traditional and contemporary audio technology. Giovanni focuses on topics from ambient recordings through advanced non-linear techniques, to the evolving arena of surround sound recording and mixing techniques. He has developed skills appropriate to contemporary sound and music pre and post- production, along with knowledge of sound, acoustic and psychoacoustics theories.
